NETBALL – run by Harbourside Netball Association

Introduces netball to 5-6 year olds. The aim is to  develop fundamental movement and ball skills.  The game that follows the skills session is played on 1/3 of a full sized court, by four teams, with the emphasis on equal participation.

‘ANZ Future Ferns’ is the skills based programme for Year 1/2’s.

Where: Harbourside Netball Centre, Blake Park, Mount Maunganui

When: Tuesday afternoon 3:50pm  (10 sessions), 20 minute skill session and 2 x 8 minute games.

Age: Year 1/2

Cost: $54 per child

Coach: Not Required

Uniform: Not required

Terms played: 2 and 3

Year 3/4 and 5/6 Netball

Where: Harbourside Netball Centre, Blake Park, Mount Maunganui

When: Year 3/4, Thursday afternoons at 4.00pm

Year 5/6, Saturday mornings from 9.00am

Age: Year 3/4, 5/6 for boys and girls, depending on numbers

Cost: $45 per child

Required for a team: 10-12 players, 7 players plus 3 – 5 substitutes

Coach: Required

Manager: Required

Uniform: WBS sports uniform
