High Flyers for the Week #13

Last week we celebrated students from across the school who were acknowledged for making great choices that help them to fly in their lives and learning.  They are listed below and remember that you can access photos from our school Facebook page.

First Flight – New Entrant and Year 1

For your impressive attitude in maths. You are thinking about what you know already and what you need to learn next.
Kopukapuka Karn Houston For your wonderful attitude towards your learning. This week you have shown a real interest in learning about repeating patterns. You can now make and continue repeating patterns. Ka Pai.
Toe Toe Jackson Mudgway For showing Kereru qualities in Room Toetoe. You look after you classmates and help them when needed. You are also very helpful to Mrs Absalom. Ka Pai!!
Kaponga Jonte Mahutonga We are so pleased to see you reading regularly at home so that you can become a confident and fluent reader. Congratulations on reaching your 25 nights award.

Take Flight – Years  2 & 3

Manuka Kian Slater For going over and above expectation in our Literacy sessions by adding extra detail to your writing. Thank you for your courage participating in “How we make friends” role play.
Miro Cyrus Moata’ane Well done for being focussed in all your learning activities this week. You are making a big effort to take risks and try your best.
Matai Tipene Kopae In class you are starting your work promptly and remaining focussed on your learning tasks. You are showing the attributes of a Kea when you ask for help. Well done for being an excellent role model in your rotation group.
